Instructions:

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×9-inch square baking pan or a similar-sized round cake pan.

Step 2: Prepare the Dry Ingredients

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set this dry mixture aside.

Step 3: Cream the Butter and Sugar

  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar together until it’s light and fluffy.

Step 4: Add the Eggs and Vanilla
